InescapableIt's suffocating. Like when you're hiding under the duvet, and you don't dare come out, but you need to because the air's getting thin and yet you know that if you just hold out a little longer, you'll be found.  
 
It's smothering. Like the father who always says 'you're not going out looking like that' or warns you to stay away from boys with motorbikes, and even though you'd never really go for them anyway, you want to, just because you shouldn't.   
It's choking. Like the strong grasp of love squeezing your heart, taking your breath away, cutting off your blood supply, leaving you faint, giddy, yet on a high; high on t Inescapable

Unexpected Unexpected  
 
The touch. The sensation. The fever, which leaves you shivering from its icy grasp one minute, and then burning up the next. And always giddy, always delirious, always so deliciously ignorant. Because ignorance is bliss, is it not? Flushed with excitement, trembling with expectation, teeming with anticipation.  
 
The thrill. The shock. The simplicity and yet the complexity, incongruously linked. The joy, the exhilaration, the sheer bloody amazement. The sun shining down, with the wind whipping you into a frenzy. The fear. The passion. The pain. The sorrow. The rain beating down, on a brightly coloured Unexpected

What is love?   
An intense emotion.   
That sounds obsessive, I've seen a budgie with 'intense emotion' for a mirror, is that love?   
No, it's like a feeling, where you feel more for the other person than yourself.   
Oh, so it's only a feeling?   
No, it's more than a feeling. You need to believe in it.   
So if you don't believe in it, you don't feel it?   
No, everyone can feel love.   
But not everyone believes in it.   
Well, I don't think you can define love.   
So it doesn't exist then?

This short quote from Jane Eyre so amazingly summarises my feelings towards my work, that I thought I'd share it with you all.

When I draw, I have a clear vision in my head of what I would like the end result to be; and it never turns out the way I envisioned.

Same when I write; I read back over some of my songs now, and think how silly and trivial they seem to me; perhaps only because the events which inspired them now seem silly and trivial to my mind. Yet none of them turn out the way I expect.

It is frustrating.
